PocketLens stores your transaction data locally on your device. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
What We Collect
Transaction data stays on your device. You can export a JSON backup at any time to save or move it yourself.
When you request an AI analysis, a summary of your spending (category totals, budgets and trends — not your individual transactions) is sent to our server and processed by a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the insights.
Exchange rates are fetched from public APIs (Frankfurter, ExchangeRate-API). No personal data is sent.
Pro subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing and managed in your Google account. Payment data is handled entirely by Google and is never stored by us.
Reminders are scheduled on your device. If you enable notifications, a device identifier and your reminder preferences (timezone, language) may be sent to our server. You can turn this off in Settings.
